Calligraphy Exhibit - Opening Reception - Thursday, 8/12

Join us as we welcome Abe Sensei to New York in the first event of The Human Spirit Festival, 1999. Enjoy drinks and a catered buffet as Abe Sensei answers questions about Japanese culture, calligraphy and his works in this exhibit.

The Exhibit itself is a sure winner. Sensei has chosen some extremely powerful examples that demonstrate both the circular movements and the presence of ki (life force) that are inherent in both the visual art of calligraphy and the martial art of aikido.
